    • Hello there. I heard NR602 is difficult due to its amount of assignment and hell of hells. lol. I will update things as early as possible, especially the assignments. I have started a few things for NR602 and once I get through it, I will post here for some guidance.

  3. Delsol7,

A fellow student sent me the link to your blog. I read that you know of a clinic in Southern California that accepts FNP students. I am a travel nurse working in the area, but am currently commuting to Phoenix for clinical. It has been very difficult finding preceptors in this state. I did find a former Chamberlain graduate that works urgent care which we can only use one time during our rotation. I will need a site and preceptor March – August starting with PEDS. I would be great not to have to drive to another state for clinical. Thanks.

    • I can give you the contact information for the clinic. I get enough peds for each term and I do not see any problem filling up 15% of the total time. Most peds are coming in for sports medicine and injury from sports. Now that the cold season is coming close, I expect to see many peds with cold symptoms. The clinic has a pretty good mixture of all ages except newborns. Never seen one. Throughout my clinical, I saw one 4-year old patient but nothing younger as most of the parents take newborns to a pediatric ER, not a local clinic.
I hear your difficulty. I cannot imagine someone driving out to AZ for clinical…
Here is my email, send me an email and I will give you the clinic information. =]

  4. Hi!
Thank you so much for your post!! A I found your blog through a post on all nurses and thank goodness for that!. I read that you know of a clinic in Southern California that accepts FNP students, could you please share that site with me? I’m a military spouse and move a lot, just moved here this past summer so finding preceptors is a challenge. I start my clinicals this fall and need to secure preceptors asap. I am in the Orange County area. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks so much in advance!
